Your role in the story:

We are seeking an HR Advisor to elevate our HR team into a strategic partner for the business. As part of our HR team, you will foster a culture of continuous learning rooted in our people-first approach and founder’s mentality. In your role as a trusted advisor, you will shape personnel policies, support managers in improving the work environment, promote employee growth, and ensure compliance with HR regulations.

Your mission will be to bridge the business and HR, with a focus on sustainable employability, talent management, and recruitment. Collaboration will be key; you will work closely with HR colleagues and frequently engage with managers at our Leiden office, international sites, and onboard vessels. Supporting the HR Business Partners, your role will include a mix of operational and tactical tasks that make a lasting impact.

Your future colleagues

The Human Resources department supports the organization and its employees, ensuring Heerema’s position as a leading global marine contractor in the offshore industry. As our new HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with three HR Business Partners and colleagues from the HR Service Desk, Training, Compensation & Benefits, Case Management, and Recruitment. Naturally, you’re curious to meet us, too! You’ll collaborate with, among others , Josine and Eline .

To ensure your success in this role, we have a few essential requirements. First and foremost, we are looking for a hands-on team player who embodies personal leadership and believes in our motto: “Our people are our greatest asset.” Additionally, you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as an HR generalist
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A growth mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
• Currently residing in and eligible to work in the Netherlands
