As an Online Marketing Intern at SMA Group, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the marketing activities of no fewer than four international brands.

You will support the development and execution of international online marketing campaigns and assist in creating engaging, targeted content for our websites, social media channels and newsletters. In addition, you will contribute to optimising our online presence, ensuring that our brands remain visible and attractive worldwide.

Because you will be working across multiple brands in different markets, no two days are ever the same. You will switch between diverse projects and have the opportunity to bring in your own creativity and ideas. This work placement is ideal for someone looking to expand their knowledge, gain practical experience in a dynamic international environment, and learn how to successfully position multiple brands at once.

Who are you?

We are looking for a student enrolled in a study programme related to marketing, communication, digital media or commercial economics. Examples include: Commercial Economics, Communication, Creative Business, Marketing Management, Digital Media (Bachelor’s level) or Marketing & Communication Specialist, Media Production (MBO level). Internship period: starting September 2025 or January 2026

Whether you are studying at MBO or HBO level, the most important thing is that you are enthusiastic about online marketing, eager to learn from practice, and keen to apply your knowledge in an international environment. Since you will work closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager and be involved with four brands, it is important that you are not only a team player, but also able to work independently and take initiative.

Your challenges

• Content creation: Supporting the development of content for our website, blogs and social media channels
• Social Media: Assisting with social media campaigns and analysing the results
• SEO: Gaining insight into search engine optimisation (SEO) and actively contributing to improvements
• Email marketing: Helping to set up and send email campaigns, and optimising the customer database
• Data analysis: Assisting with campaign analysis and reporting on the results
