About the role
Trademarks play a key role in the business of and are essential for its reputation, brand awareness and customer relationship. Currently, has more than 5000 Trademarks worldwide. The vacant position will serve as an administrative interface between external Trademark hubs and to manage, maintain and execute BC’s Trademark portfolio. The person will closely interact with Brand managers and the marketing department to ensure proper alignment of the Trademark portfolio
Key responsibilities include

Main interface with our external Trademark hubs to manage the global Trademark Portfolio

Coordinate with external TM attorneys and internal Brand Managers in preparing and filing trademark applications

Manage the execution process, notarization and depository of trademark related documents and declarations, including collection of wet ink signatures from authorized signatories of the main trademark holding BC entities, e.g. BC AG

Support trademark prosecution efforts, including gathering evidence, and registering/renewing trademarks

Perform trademark searches to help advise on the availability of new names and logos for the Marketing department

Manage a Third Party Trademark Monitoring system and perform investigations to ensure freedom to operate of our TM portfolio

Review invoices and assist in cost center allocation and invoice management

Administrative support to the management of other IP rights, e.g. patents and domains
About you
-
Paralegal qualification or a Bachelor degree in law, science or economics
-
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal / assistant in the Legal Department of a multinational company or international law firm
-
Highly Proficient in English and German. Spanish or any additional language is a plus
-
Excellent skills in MS Office
-
Experience in invoice management and SAP
-
Excellent Knowledge of international Trademark law and the filing and prosecution process of trademarks

Good Understanding of Patent law of advantage

Strong written communication skills and highly proficient in MS Office

Capable of handling multiple task and projects accurately

Strong analytical and organizational skills
